Baby, it's cold outside...

Today we took a little day trip with the fam to Mt. Charleston. It snowed right after we had arrived! Luckily we had the comfort of a cabin. It was great! The kids got to play outside and then come in to warm up. Us adults got to hang out inside as we snacked and chatted. It was a super laid back day. Totally what I've been needing this week.
Most of the cousins who were there. My kids just love spending time with their "friends."

Once again, out of 5 pics, this was the best we could get.

We had some dutch oven potatoes and peach cobbler, YUM! Good job guys!

It was an exhausting day for the kids, they all crashed in the car.

The dutch oven cooking brings back memories of the 16th/Gateway Ward Pioneers in the Pines. Darren's dad was always part of that wonderful food cooking process. Looks like you guys had a great time.

I'm glad that somewhere else got snow! We woke up to about 2 inches of the white stuff! I'm glad that you were able to go there with the fam!

Wow looks like fun. Gosh we haven't had dutch oven in so long. We haven't been up to Mt. Charleston in so long we really need to take the kids. Are kids would love just to run and especially with the cousins.

I love how you'all are bundled up! Do you have/need heavy-duty winter coats for the kids?
For once the weather was warmer in Wisconsin than it was in Las Vegas. We had 83 degrees today, and 80 yesterday. Lauren was extremely put-out; Cedar City had their first snow fall yesterday. I think Lauren may be home sick!
