We took Luke out last night for his great report card. He chose to eat at Red Robin. Since he still had a gift card for Build a Bear, we decided to go to the Galleria and kill 2 birds with one stone.
He was so funny here. I think he was feeling like he was too old and was
embarrassed to do the stuff they wanted him to do. He didn't even want to pose for a picture.
He ended up getting a panda, it's one we don't have yet... he put a beating heart inside and he got him a scout shirt since this year Luke will become a boy scout. I think he turned out pretty cute and he only went a $1.80 over his gift card.
Off to Red Robin where the boys shared a chocolate shake. I'll admit I did have a sip and it was so yummy! He also had his favorite strawberry lemonade and ate the chunks of strawberries. He had a grilled cheese that proved hard to eat because of the lack of front teeth he has. He played a video game while we were waiting that wasted a dollar way to fast, so he played games on Darren's phone during the ride home.
We had a great time! We are so proud of you Luke, you are such an awesome kid!

It is always fun spending one on one time with kids. I always treasure time like that. I love that he was to cool to pose for pictures at build a bear.

Nice bear Luke! I don't care what all the other kids say, building a bear can still be manly. Or as they say at school "lo que hombre os de puluche."
