cub and girl scouts

Luke has now almost been a cub scout for almost a whole year now. I wasn't blogging when he received his Bob Cat award several months ago. The lights are always dimmed when they do the awards and you'd think I'd remember to bring my good camera, but no. Here's the pic from that one though.

Riley has been in girl scouts for over a year now. We have discovered recently since I took the troop over and have had some training, that she really wasn't old enough to be a brownie then, or really now. OOPS! Most of the girls in the troop got too old so a couple friends and I decided we would keep it going with our younger girls. Here's Riley and her friend Kylie in February selling GS cookies. It was such a cold cold day, but we had a blast!

Just look at those cookies... can't wait for February!!

And here is Luke and me on Tuesday night when he received his Wolf badge along with a gold arrow and several silver ones. He has worked hard this last year and has so much fun. He really loves the Jenkins and doesn't mind hanging out over there even on non scout days. haha
He is excited to be moving up to the Bear den in a few weeks.
