What's been goin' on

-Gave Coco a cookie after he had his shots. I think he really enjoyed it! I just love what a character this kid is.
Of course, right after I posted about his well check, he has said a couple new words- hi, bye and is finally waving.

-I was excited to go fill the RX cream for a rash he has. When you fill a new RX at CVS you get a $25 gift card if you ask for a coupon for it. I'm so excited for my next CVS run, I have $40 free!

-Monday night, Erin and I got to bring dinner to the Berkabiles and see their beautiful baby girl Sadie. I just love newborns. She is just the tiniest little thing. They are just a beautiful family! After I left, I was almost sad to know we won't have another newborn in our home. I got over it quickly when I remembered my baby sleeps through the night!

-Tuesday afternoon, the whole family had appointments at the dentist. We all got our teeth cleaned. My kids are weird and love to go to the dentist. It helps that their Aunt Mindy and Aunt Heather work there. They also love all the toys in the treasure box! Unfortunately, Luke and I both have one little cavity each. Darren thought it was quite funny that it was me and not him. We will be going back next week for the fillings.

-Tuesday night Brittney called me over to fix my hair. (see pic below for end result) She was mortified when she saw I had posted a pic of it at the party. You see, it is very hard to cover the red that I had in my hair. We new it would be a process, but in my pink cover up, it looked pinkish, purplish. We had a late night and then didn't get it finished. She didn't have the right toner for it.

-While on the treadmill Wednesday morning, here comes the Leavitt family. Britt with toner in hand. She finishes my hair and then while I shower, she makes mac and cheese for my kids and wipes two of their bums. What a friend!! She was much happier with this end result. I thought it was fine before, but agree it is better now. I had to post a pic for her so everyone can see how great she is! Thanks a ton girl!!

-On Wednesday afternoon I went to see the Endocrinologist, finally. Unfortunately, I am not so impressed with him. Won't go too into it. We did do an ultrasound and found that my thyroid is enlarged. He doesn't think I have enough symptoms to be "really" hyperthyroid. I went to have more blood work done. If it comes out high again, I will go and have a scan done of my thyroid. I should find out this afternoon.
Ugh, and I found out at the Dr. that I have gained 3 pounds. This has a little to do with my thyroid causing me to be hungry all the time. But, I have got to get on this and work out hard to get it off!!
(and yes, my eyelashes are growing back)

-Wednesday night we went to Peter Piper for Luke's end of soccer party. I just love that Marc Dudley was his coach and I get to hang with Erin! The place was busy, but the pizzas were only 5 bucks! You can't go wrong! The kids had a blast with Darren and I got to chat with Erin and few of the other moms.

-Today we our planning on swimming and hopefully going to the library. I have been trying to get there all week!
It's going to be a long summer break I have decided. We really need to get some activities set up!
