Saturday was the big day we have been waiting 8 years for! Luke was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! What a very special day it was!
As we walked in Luke looked at me and whispered, "I'm so nervous." I didn't think that boy ever got nervous.
He and his Dad went in and got dressed in their whites and came out for a few pics. (Of course my camera battery died so some photos are from D's phone and some from my mom's camera.)
So many of our friends and family we there with us to share his special day. When he was baptized it was so cute to see all of the little kids kneeling right up front so they could see. Cole pushed his way through the crowd and when it was done he clapped for Luke. It was so darn cute!Once dried off, Darren confirmed Luke a member of the church and he received the gift of the Holy Ghost.
We were able to visit with our family and friends for a bit, and then we headed to Aunt Machelle's for a little party.
Here is the handsome guy opening up the new scriptures we got him. The boy made out like a bandit. He got several presents.

We needed a family shot to commemorate the day. You will probably be seeing it again in our Christmas cards. It is so hard to get a family of 6 all smiling and looking decent.
And...here's our silly shot.Luke, we are so proud of your decision to be baptized! You are such a good boy who always chooses the right. We love you so much!

We are so sad we missed it. We are still trying to figure out what is wrong with Mason. Glad his day was so special. He looks so grown up in his suit.
