Since Darren had to work last night, the kids and I stayed home and partied. My friend Sheri and 3 of her kids stopped by to play a few games. We had a little treat and tried to have a toast with sparkling cider, but I couldn't get the darn bottle open. We had milk instead.
My son is very competitive. ( I wonder where he gets that from?)
Luke was all talk when Riley fell asleep. He was so excited to see the fireworks and stay up till midnight. Poor boy fell asleep at 11:50 and I could not get him to wake up.

Poor Luke, only 10 more minues! We stayed home and watched movies till midnight. I put the kids to bed at regular time because they don't even understand what New Years is. Its better that way for all of us today :)
Ya I'm pretty lame. Luke did better then me. I had the cider all ready and what not and then I crashed at 11! Oh well thats life right!

Roger, Steve, and I went to see National Treasure-2 on New Year's Eve...It was a good flick.
Roger and I couldn't wait for midnight; I can't believe that we now consider midnight to be LATE!! Getting OLD is so boring!

Luke lasted longer then me,I fell asleep around 11:30,Marc had to kiss me while I was asleep. Thanks for having me and my kids over,they had alot of fun playing.
okay, so both my husband and i were sound asleep by 11:45 pm... we were up at 11:30, but just couldn't make it.
(and to respond to your post on my blog, we did see dorway. he was so cute, the typical sweet little old man doctor. i really liked him.)
Luke looks like I did at about that time! I am a loser and couldn't hang. All the kids were in bed, and my eyes were way to heavy! heehee guess I'm getting old!
