Today

Since we missed Valentine's this year, I decided to make some cookies for the holiday today. Actually, I went to make them last night, but I forgot my mixer broke with the last batch of cookies I made. I love eating these cookies but boy what a mess they are to make. I only did asingle batch , so it wasn't too bad. Here are my cute little Valentine's enjoying them outside.

I heard that Kohl's was having a sale so I went to check it out this afternoon. I have been itching to buy my new baby boy something. I think I am so much pickier with boy clothes. I wasn't totally excited with my couple finds, but it was a good price and they aren't as bad as other outfits I've seen. The blanket is to die for though, it is sooo soft. I think I could have found more today but I had Ry with me, we had to hurry to get back for Darren to leave for work, and really I just wasn't in the mood. I'm just too impatient right now!

Sweet sales are awesome!
Ya, I struggle sometimes shopping for my son. Especially the boy baby stuff is hard. I too am very picky.!!!

I don't think its hard to shop for boy stuff...just more expensive cuz I love the baby Quicksilver and Hurley clothes! I bought that teddybear outfit for our little one too. So cute - I hope its not to "boyish" in case I have a girl ;o)

I'm so hungry for those cookies, but not hungry enough to go through the mess of making them! Missy, You could have a little side catering job. Cooking for people like me who hate to even walk into the kitchen! I wish that we lived closer...I'd buy those gorgeous cookies....plus.....I'd watch your children so you could cook without distraction!
By the way, my spaghetti sauce is scorching, gotta run! :)

I am so with you on the boy clothing...it's a lot more difficult to find decent boy outfits. I always check Dillards sale rack and can usually find cute Hurley and Quicksilver shirts:) By the way...I did find that formula dispenser. I found it on Amazon. Thanks for the help!
**Oh yeah...congrats on the boy!!! I am very excited for you:)

hey, sorry kohl's wasn't as good for you. i was on the girls side, so i didn't see much on the boy side. there must have been 6 of us grabbing to get our sizes really fast at a buck each :) glad to see that you found a few cute things.... oh and thanks for your extra attention to kacey in nursery today. i kept peeking in and seeing her on darren's lap. it's week 2, and i'm hoping she gets the hang of it. it certainly makes 3rd hour much easier on us!

I love when the weather is nice enough for the kids to eat messy stuff outside.

I think my son dresses better than my daughter but probably because I like to put him in little skater boy clothes. Girl clothes are definietly more fun though.

Have you guys thought of a name for him already? I know when we think about boy names it is soooo hard!! Good thing we had a girl first or we might be in trouble.

Boys clothes have come so far since we were kids...they are so much cuter. Great picks and you can't beat a fantastic sale!

You got some cute stuff. I love that blanket, I got it for someone as a shower gift. It really is so soft!

yeah so i went back to kohls, and it was slim pickings! i came up with this great idea (actually the inital emotion was fear) because i have NO boy stuff. not even greens and yellows, i have pink up the wazzooo. and if i do have a boy, i'm gonna need to go out and buy things like crazy. so, i decided to go back to kohls and buy the clearanced boy stuff, keeping all the tags on, receipt in bag so i can return it if baby #3's a girl... or at least i've got a start if baby #3's a boy. yeah, not a lot to choose from but somehow i managed to find a few good deals. i got some cute stuff, but i totally agree with you... i'm much more picky with boy stuff than girl stuff... isn't that strange?
