Calf Creek

We just love hiking through Calf Creek when we visit Escalante.
We waited for the rain to clear up to go, and once we got there, we were afraid it might start again. We got lucky and it was just beautiful out.

The last time Chloe was here, she was a baby and was carried the whole way, so I wasn't sure how she would do. That girl was such a trooper! She was willing to try anything. My favorite though, was when she was holding Darren's hand walking, saying "carefully, carefully", in her cute little Chloe accent.

Kolton starting carving his name into the moss, so D had to join in. The kids saw D&M and said, "Oh, MOM and DAD."
That worked out well.

I am so glad I was the camera holder!

I love that our kids are getting older and these little outings get easier and easier. It also helped that Cole stayed at the house with Gma and Gpa Mecham. But, we were able to get all cleaned up and dried and stopped for a frozen yogurt at the gas station on the way home. So fun!
